Anzuelo is a display font made to reflect myself.
This project was an assignment at San Joaquin Delta College, as a final capstone project prior to graduating. My express goals for the project was to intertwine the things that I feel represent myself as a person and background in the font. Here is my process breaking it down.
Anzuelo, inspired by Inca and Aztec design elements, architecture, and textile patterns, emphasizing font design for display, signage, branding, and creating a presence in South America.
A digital font chart displaying uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters in a blocky, geometric style on a green background. The font is called Anzuelo, created by Ariel Scriven
Ligatures.
The part of the development process that I enjoyed the most was the development and creation of more ligatures to use for display and building a display type that would flow together in a functional way.
